柯文哲還說，透過RCA(Root Cause Analysis根本原因分析)建置犯罪熱點的構想有其道理，因為可以透過科學數據了解火災、車禍、犯罪等相關資料，而連勝文說的犯罪熱點也是基於這種概念，他認為現在應該慢慢用科學數據找出問題，並進一步提出解決方案。不過柯文哲也說，台北市警局都知道該如何做，只是需要有執行力的長官來督導治安。
