青蛙呱呱叫:

原理:

蛙的發音器官為聲帶，位於喉門軟骨上方。

頭兩側有兩個聲囊，可以產生共鳴，放大叫聲。

有些雄蛙口角的兩邊還有能鼓起來振動的外聲囊，聲囊產生共鳴，使蛙的聲音更為大聲。

體形小的品種叫聲頻率較高。

目的:

雄蛙

雄蛙的叫聲彼此呼應，此起彼伏，匯成一片大合唱。

科學工作者指出，蛙類的合唱並非各自亂唱，而是有一定規律，有領唱、合唱、齊唱、伴唱等多種形式，互相緊密配合，是名副其實的合唱。

現有研究發現，雄蛙相較於獨自鳴叫，較喜歡多隻青蛙聚在一起，所發展出的「合唱」之所以會這樣；據推測，是因為合唱比獨唱優越得多，因為它包含的信息多；合唱聲音洪亮，傳播的距離遠，能吸引較多的雌蛙前來，所以蛙類經常采用合唱形式。

雄蛙會聚集在一起鳴叫求偶的這個行為稱為lekking，群集展示行為。
