沙烏地阿拉伯一名青年伊伯拉罕(Ibrahim)因為一場車禍，導致他癱瘓在床，但在這段期間並無親友前來探望，因此伊伯拉罕在推特(Twitter)上發文，希望有人能夠來探視並幫助他，不料他的發文果真獲得廣大回響，醫院湧進上百位網友，帶給他莫大的驚喜。

根據英國《獨立報》(The Independent )報導，伊伯拉罕因遭逢車禍後癱瘓，人生瞬間改變，而在他發生事故數月以來，都沒有親友前往探望，甚至連父親與兄長都忽視他，讓他感到相當絕望孤單。

而難過的伊伯拉罕則透過網路尋求慰藉，在推特上發文講述自己的遭遇，並稱希望有人能夠到醫院探視他，並幫助他到德國進行骨髓移植。不過，伊伯拉罕沒料到原本只是一則絕望的請求文，竟然真的獲得廣大轉發。

報導指出，伊伯拉罕的推文在一天內被轉發了20萬次，並有上百位網友湧入醫院，帶著鮮花、披薩、禮物等在病房外排隊等著要探望他，想讓伊伯拉罕知道他並非只有一個人。

不過，因為前往探望伊伯拉罕的人數實在太多，讓醫院不得不暫時限制人數，以免影響到醫護人員工作與其他病患。另外，伊伯拉罕想到德國作骨髓移植手術的願望也能夠成真，因為他的推文也替他募得了一筆13萬美元(約台幣390萬)的善款。
