在JAGUAR F-Type尚未問市以前XK為當家雙門Coupe跑車，它不僅有俐落、流線的車身設計，其車頭的橢圓型水箱護罩，更是從1996年第一代車型XK8，一直延續到第二代的車型設計中，即便現行車款自2006年銷售至今，但XK還是維護JAGUAR特有的古典韻味，並在F-Type登場之後仍不失色。
