設計大師Tom Dixon　來台發表新品

【凃盈如／台北報導】 英國工業設計大師Tom Dixon於11月12日訪台，帶來2013年於米蘭展發表的新系列作品，並分享他的創作歷程。 Tom Dixon表示：「我在意產品是否設計簡練、厚實，能夠長久使用、並且能夠永久被保存，而非一時的。」新品Cell系列便以黃銅展現金屬質材的不敗的魅力，並以幾何造型創造簡練風格。

Tom Dixon為英國當代最有影響力的工業設計大師，對於研究材料十分專注，在創立同名品牌前，曾經為英國連鎖家具品牌Habitat工作長達8年之久，目前多為自己品牌設計，偶有跨界之作。Tom Dixon認為：「這樣便能擁有個人風格、品質更有保證，不受影響地發展品牌，並為自己的產品發聲。」
