奧蘭多魔術2013年選秀榜眼Victor Oladipo身高6呎4吋，允攻允守，是NCAA印第安納大學攻堅主力，不過新東家希望他能朝著「高控衛」方向慢慢轉型。
根據《奧蘭多哨兵報》報導，魔術正在訓練營當中培養Oladipo擔任控衛的能力，他在印大的角色一直是得分後衛。
Oladipo大一時平均每場可攻下10.8分、5.3籃板，大二提升外線能力後，數據也隨著升級，平均13.6分、6.3籃板、2.1助攻、2.2抄截，三分球命中率44.1%。
目前魔術的主控還是Jameer Nelson，在奧蘭多已經待了9年的他，上季在群龍無首的陣中繳出平均14.7分、7.4助攻，但命中率是生涯最糟的39.2%。
