日前在WWDC之中，APPLE進一步的發表次世代的「iOS in the Car」的概念，藉由一個運行於車載裝置的系統，讓駕駛人可以將手上的iPhone、iPad、iPod等多種iDevice，與車載上之iOS in the Car系統連接，讓汽車的顯示螢幕上也能提供地圖、電話、簡訊、音樂播放資訊等，並享有無縫接軌的多媒體、導航、免持通話等功能，目前包括HONDA、HYUNDAI、M-BENZ、NISSAN、CHEVROLET、INFINITI、KIA、VOLVO、JAGUAR、FERRARI、OPEL、ACURA等12個車廠合作，預計在2014年便能有實際的應用開始出現。
