美國海軍近日宣布，已經將退役的超級航母『福萊斯特』號以1美分的價格出售，此後這艘航母將面臨被拆卸並回收利用的命運。該航母曾參加越南戰爭和海灣戰爭，曾是美國人的驕傲，但也帶給美國人沉痛的回憶。1967年，在轟炸越南僅4天後，發生火災和爆炸事故、致134名艦員死亡。這艘航母本欲作為紀念物或博物館，但因維護費用太高，最後只能落得拆卸回收廢鐵的命運。

將被拆卸回收

新快報據美國福克斯新聞網報導，海軍官員宣布，已經將『福萊斯特』號出售給了德克薩斯州的『全明星金屬公司』。後者計劃將『福萊斯特』號從現在所處的費城海軍閒置艦船停靠處拖運至得州布朗斯維爾，隨後對其進行拆卸並回收利用其中部分資源。

『福萊斯特』航母共建4艘，於上世紀50年代服役。它是美國戰後建造的第一級航空母艦，為裝備新式噴氣式專門設計。該級艦首次採用蒸汽彈射器，也是美國歷史上第一艘在龍骨上建有斜角甲板的航空母艦。首艘『福萊斯特』號航母，以美國前海軍部長、第一任國防部長吉姆斯·福萊斯特為名，由紐波斯特船廠建造。1952年7月14日開工，1954年12月11日下水，1955年10月1日完工。建造這艘超級航母動用了超過1.6萬名工程師、繪圖員和工匠，花費了2.17億美元（按現在價值算相當於20億美元）。

曾釀重大事故

『福萊斯特』號的經歷可謂多彩兼悲情。它最出名的要數1967年的那次事故：1967年7月29日上午，『福萊斯特』號正在北部灣執行越戰任務時，靜電觸發了飛行甲板上一架F-4『鬼怪』戰鬥機上的火箭發射裝置。這枚火箭擊中了一架全副武裝的A-4『天鷹』攻擊機，導致油箱破裂，造成當時停滿飛機的甲板上發生一連串火災和爆炸。全體艦員花了一個小時同大火搏鬥，可是第二天又出現了新的火情。最終，134人因此喪生，300多人受傷。航母受到了嚴重破壞，超過26架飛機報廢，還有30多架受損。值得一提的是，被擊中的戰鬥機曾是現在美國國會資深參議員約翰·麥凱恩年輕時的座駕。

退役已經20年

事故發生後，『福萊斯特』號經過7個月的修繕再度下海，隨後又執行了20多年的任務，直到1993年退役。2010年，『福萊斯特』號來到費城，與其他閒置艦船一起等待被出售、捐獻或沉入海底作為人工礁。據悉，海軍曾嘗試捐獻『福萊斯特』號，作為紀念物或博物館，但是沒有任何一方接受。『福萊斯特』號聯合會歷史學家、1967年事故的倖存者肯·基爾邁爾解釋說，儘管這艘航母可以成為一個優秀的教育工具，但維護的費用實在太高。

據海軍方面的消息，由於美國嚴苛的環保法律體系，拆解含有大量有毒物質的航母需要高昂的費用，其成本甚至高過出售拆解的廢鋼所得。加之美國國會禁止未經許可出口航母，退役後的『福萊斯特』號無法賣給外國拆船廠。正是因此，美軍才以象徵性的1美分處理掉這個燙手山芋。

英國宣布出售唯一現役航母

不知道大家有沒有意願買艘航母當耶誕節禮物呢？英國軍方本月中旬開始為其僅有的一艘航母『卓越』號尋找買家了。而上一艘『皇家方舟』號航母以290萬英鎊的價格賤賣給土耳其，最終成了一堆廢鐵。據路透社報導，因資金緊張，英國軍方近日開始為其僅有的現役航母卓越號尋找買家，聲稱將會接受來自企業、慈善機構和信託公司的出價。英國國防部發言人15日表示，買家不僅限於英國的機構，該機構必須把全部或者部分船體留在英國以某種方式延續其用途，但是英國國防部並沒有說明部分船體到底有多大。

2011年，英國軍方先後拍賣了『皇家方舟』號和『無敵』號。當數以千計的英國民眾走上街頭送別『皇家方舟』號，英國廣播公司主持人無限感慨地說：『自它之後，榮光遠去。』後來這兩艘航空母艦在轉手後最終都被拆成了廢鐵。

綜觀幾個海軍大國處理退役航母的經驗，不難發現英國、法國和俄羅斯都存在出售舊航母給他國的做法。反觀美國，雖然擁有世界上最多航母資源，卻對向國外銷售退役航空母艦不感興趣。據悉，美國海軍的退役航母一般只有四個結局：封存、改建成博物館、作為試驗靶艦被擊沉、出售給美國內造船廠拆解。

『福萊斯特』號航母在越戰中沒有經受考驗，反而被自己的失誤給坑了。

【大紀元2013年10月27日訊】（大紀元記者林萌騫台灣南投報導）南投縣社大草屯及南投分校學員，26日齊聚貓羅溪碧峰里河堤，和碧峰社區民眾及繪畫班學員一起揮動彩筆，共同完成百人彩繪創作，將社區的歷史建築及信仰中心的廟會盛況呈現在河堤上，展現社區豐厚的人文歷史。

彩繪主題由社大講師林進達、洪春成及曾仁甫構圖，表現社區人文建築瑞河堂及三級古蹟龍德廟廟會活動，據地方文史人士表示，龍德廟是社區的信仰中心，廟名取自月眉厝林姓祖居地福建漳州南靖土樓「龍德樓」，表達永念先祖之意。

南投縣議員廖梓佑表示，彩繪河堤除了展現社大學員的藝術學習成果，也能增進社區民眾的藝術涵養，並藉由參與活動拉進里民間距離，進而創造和諧的社區，同時還可以為自行車友及民眾增添充滿藝術文化的休憩場所。

社區靠近貓羅溪下游，民國47年和48年連續遭逢洪水肆虐，造成社區重大損失，議員林永鴻指出，彩繪主題的瑞河堂和龍德廟都是當時倖存的古蹟，社大學員將歷史建築及廟會活動以彩繪呈現，可讓居民緬懷先人奮鬥的艱辛。

龍德廟溪頭橋下河堤，近幾年來經過碧峰社區前理事長莊福添、現任理事長張濬賢及里長林永福聯手植樹綠美化，已成為社區民眾晨昏休憩散步的好場所，經過彩繪後，更為社區增加了豐富的人文藝術氣息。
